Modular Small-Scale Liquefaction Plants
Modular small-scale LNG liquefaction plants fundamentally change the economics of stranded gas resources where pipeline construction is prohibitively expensive and an approvals nightmare.
Our factory-built, pre-tested and skid-mounted liquefaction plants, ranging from 20 tonnes per day (tpd) to over 300tpd are a breakthrough in gas processing at source. They avoid the challenges and pitfalls of construction in situ, in sometimes extremely remote locations. They are modular, easy to commission and fast into service once delivered to site. Ther are also transportable, allowing them to be decommissioned, redeployed and recommissioned, to meet the needs of small, isolated resources and dispersed well-fields.
Modular plant sizes range from 20tpd to >300tpd of LNG production (18,000 to 375,000 Nm3/d), using Single Mixed Refrigerant (SMR) system and Mixed Refrigerant (MR) and Mixed Refrigerant Cycle (MRC) variants meaning that our plants ensure constant, reliable, simple operation.

The SMR process is more efficient, offers greater productivity, and improved energy consumption that is 22% lower than alternate methods. SMR is a simpler process requiring less equipment, offers a compact modular design and provides greater flexibility for the composition of feed-in gas. Power requirements are easily met by on-site generation and do not undermine the economics of the project.
The combined benefits of cost effective CAPEX , early cash flow and optimal OPEX means that your project’s ROI is greatly enhanced – sometimes meaning the difference between viability and lost opportunity.
